A Deeper Look Into Saratoga Bridges

The Saratoga Bridges “White Party” gala is coming up soon, and as excitement builds and final details fall into place, we wanted to tell you a bit more about this wonderful local organization and why we are committed to supporting them.

Saratoga Bridges was founded in 1954 by a group of parents in our capital region who were committed to advocating for their developmentally disabled children. They knew that with the right resources, support, and education, every child could lead a meaningful life and play an important role in our society. Today, they are one of the largest nonprofits in Saratoga County, servicing over 800 families. They provide healthcare assistance, social and recreational opportunities, vocational training, education, legislative advocacy and a spectrum of housing options for residents. They also play a pivotal role in increasing public awareness for the developmentally disabled.

The upcoming “White Party” on July 16 is just one of many opportunities for all of us to show our appreciation for Saratoga Bridges and the essential work that they do. We are proud to donate our auction item of a chef-selected dinner and wine paring for ten at the Schrader and Company showroom, with the dinner to be prepared by The Lake Placid Lodge’s Executive Chef Mark Hannon.

May the bids be high and plentiful!
